  • The KLP pension scheme covers nurses in positions of 20% or more.
  • The pension scheme also covers permanent and temporary nurses who work less than 20%, but take extra shifts/hours so that their average per quarter corresponds to a 20% position.
  • For all other employees, the scheme applies if you work an average of 14 hours per week during a quarter.
  • Temporary employees are enrolled in the KLP pension scheme from their first day of work.

Arendal has 22 homes in various price ranges and sizes. All are at Hauglandsheia 2, within a short walking distance of the hospital.

Sørlandet Hospital accepts 650 students for placements each year. Students are pursuing bachelor’s degrees, continuing education, further education or master’s degrees. Upper secondary school year 3 students and apprentices also complete placements at Sørlandet Hospital.
