About our websites
www.sshf.no is developed in close collaboration with the other hospitals in Norway. Together, we develop new functionality, design and content structures to make the website accessible to users. We also work with the Norwegian Directorate of eHealth and Norsk Helsenett, which manages and operates the technical solution.

Norsk Helsenett is the national service provider and technical provider responsible for operating and maintaining the website.
The information collected is stored on servers operated by NHN. A separate agreement between the Norwegian Directorate of eHealth and NHN governs what information the provider has access to and how it must be processed.
On the website, you can contact the hospital by email. Sensitive personal data must not be sent by email. It is therefore important that you do not include such information, for example information about your health, national identity number, etc., in emails to us.When you have sent a message, your name, email address (if you would like a reply to your enquiry) and the subject of your message will be stored.

Provide feedback on the websites
You can provide feedback on the websites using the “Did you find what you were looking for” form. The form is available on some of our webpages. You will not receive a reply to your feedback, but it will be stored. Feedback is used to help improve and develop the websites. If you enter a telephone number, national identity number or email address, this information will be automatically deleted before submission.

We link to other organisations and websites. The privacy statement on this website does not cover other websites. When you visit other websites, you should therefore read their privacy statements.
We use the video player services Vimeo and YouTube from Google. Google collects data when you play a video. Such data is not collected if you do not play the video. Storage of visitor statistics
The website stores traffic/visitor statistics. The statistics show how often each section of the website is visited. We cannot trace your use of the website back to you as an individual.
Examples of information stored include the number of visitors to the various pages, which websites they come from, how long they stay on the website and which browsers they use. The stored information is used to continually improve and develop the website's services and content.
The visitor statistics solution is based on Matomo.
Search
We store information about the search terms you use when searching the website. This is to improve our information and better tailor it to users' needs. Among other things, we can find out which search terms produce results and which search results you select. Only the search terms are stored, and they cannot be linked to other information about you.
