We base our plans for building a new emergency building and renovating the existing main building on the best available knowledge about population trends, disease trends and medical developments.

Detailed planning and involvement
In parallel, we are continuing with the detailed project planning. We are assessing what furnishings and equipment each individual room will have. Staff from the various medical disciplines are helping to develop specifications that may affect the spaces, and we are planning medical technical equipment, other equipment and furnishings in detail. We will then make the necessary procurements.
The organisational development project is in full swing. What changes should we make to achieve optimal patient flow, efficient work processes and the right use of technology? Many staff members are taking part in this work.
The building is scheduled for completion in May 2029.
