Health Atlases compare the population’s use of health services through interactive maps, reports and fact sheets. The overarching goal is for health services in Norway to be equitable, regardless of where you live.

Healthcare professionals face ethical choices in patient care every day, whether relating to diagnostics, treatment or the allocation of shared resources. The Clinical Ethics Committee helps ensure quality in ethical matters and enhance our ability to identify, analyse and, where possible, resolve ethical issues related to patient care.

We have a statutory duty to report serious incidents. This applies to incidents that have resulted in death or significant harm to patients. These reports are called 3-3A reports, after Section 3-3, which sets out the reporting duty in the Specialist Health Services Act.
