Strategy for 2025-2028
Research is one of the four statutory responsibilities of the specialist health service and an important prerequisite for quality and development in the health service. Sørlandet Hospital HF’s strategic plan for 2025–2028 sets the framework for the organisation’s research efforts. The sub-plan for research and research-driven innovation specifies how the strategic objectives will be followed up during the planning period.
Plan for Research and Research-Driven Innovation 2025-2028
During the period 2025–2028, Sørlandet Hospital HF will strengthen research through better support and facilitation, and make research a more integrated part of clinical activities. We will increase the number of patients participating in clinical trials, strengthen research environments and facilitate the adoption of new knowledge, technology and innovation in patient care. We will also make better use of the hospital’s data, strengthen cooperation with other research environments and increase external research funding.
