Youth Council
The Youth Council advises on matters concerning children’s and young people’s experiences at the hospital. The Council raises matters itself or in response to suggestions from management and staff. The Youth Council works with both the Department of Paediatrics and the Department of Mental Health for Children and Young People.
The Council consists of representatives from various user groups in Agder and works to ensure meaningful user involvement for children and young people at Sørlandet Hospital. The focus is on safeguarding their needs and perspectives, and promoting views that can help improve services and care for young users.
