After treatment

Before you go home, you and your guardians will have a consultation with both a doctor and a nurse.

 

Among other things, they will tell you what to look out for after the operation or treatment and what will happen next. Perhaps you will start taking new medication? Some people also need to take it easy and stay home from school for a few days.

Many people need to come back to see us for a check-up. During the check-up, the doctor will see how you have been since your operation or treatment. Sometimes you will need to have new examinations and tests.
