It is in a formal letter that the managing director of South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, Terje Rootvelt, gives the green light for SSHF to upgrade the planned helicopter landing pad at the new emergency building. This is done by allowing the enterprise to use up to 68 million kroner from our accumulated basic fund towards HSØ.

- This will be a very important upgrade for the hospital, and also for the entire region with regard to emergency preparedness. We can now take down large AW101 Sar Queen rescue helicopters, said managing director Nina Mevold toNRK SørlandetSeptember 5th.
