User Committee
The User Committee advises the managing director and the board of Sørlandet Hospital, with the aim of ensuring that users’ voices are heard and taken into account in decision-making and service development. Its purpose is to contribute to a healthcare service that is accessible, inclusive, and adapted to the needs of patients and their next of kin.
The User Committee consists of representatives from various patient and user organisations, who contribute a broad range of experiences and perspectives. The committee meets regularly to discuss and provide advice on issues that are important to users and their next of kin. It is also open to input from anyone who wishes to help improve healthcare services.
