Job Shadowing

A mutual job-shadowing scheme has been established in cooperation with municipalities in Agder. The opportunities are targeted and structured, and take place during fixed weeks in spring and autumn.
Application deadlines: 15 June and 15 December.

In this context, job shadowing is a time-limited, unpaid observation period in a unit at Sørlandet Hospital. The hospital does not guarantee that the job-shadowing period will count towards a course of study.

If you are applying for a clinical placement, we may be able to offer one in exceptional cases (unless your educational institution has an agreement with Sørlandet Hospital). Please specify the supervision requirements on the application form.

Application form for medical and psychology students

Clinical placement supervisors who want to gain closer insight into the clinical field are welcome to apply for job shadowing. The placement is a time-limited, unpaid observation period in one of our units. If you have specific requests regarding the content, please include them on the application form.
