Many of the library’s databases and electronic subscriptions require you to use an SSHF PC. To access them from other devices, you can log in via MyAthens (OpenAthens).
You must be registered with the Medical Library to use this service.

Login service for SSHF employees to access the library’s e-resources when you are not on the SIKT network.
- Get a username and password:
Contact the library inArendal, Flekkefjord and Kristiansand
You will receive an email with a username and a link to create a password. Remember that your password is personal and must not be shared with others.
- Go tohttps://my.openathens.net/and log in.
You can also log in directly through a number of resources (often listed as MyAthens/OpenAthens/Athens sign in), but you will only have access if the library has a subscription (for example, ClinicalKey, Wiley, Sage).
