Network activities

Network of Expertise

Network activities are central to all of BarnsBeste’s work. We collaborate with the networks on research, professional development, quality improvement and implementation.

BarnsBeste’s network activities involve organising and running networks of clinicians, researchers, government agencies, organisations and resource persons relevant to the field. The networks meet regularly and contribute by sharing experience, knowledge about needs and challenges, and good practice; providing input for the further development of the field; and improving the quality of existing systems.

National Professional Network for Municipalities

BarnsBeste’s municipal network is an interdisciplinary network that helps support evidence-based work with children as next of kin in municipalities. Its purpose is to increase knowledge, expertise and collaboration relating to children as next of kin and bereaved children. Four meetings are held each year, some in collaboration with the network for specialist health services. Participants come from 22 municipalities and represent a range of professions.
