Closing a research project

When a project is completed, a final report must be sent to the body that approved the project (usually REK). 

The approval specifies how long data must be stored after the project ends. Data must be stored using an approved electronic solution or securely locked away.

For studies involving clinical trials of medicinal products, data must be retained for 25 years after the project ends. ContactResearch Sectionfor guidance.​ ​
