Access to patient records
You can read selected documents from your patient record online. A patient record contains documentation about the examinations and treatment you have received, and you have the right to see what it contains. You also have the right to know who has accessed the information in your record.
How to do it:
To use this online service, you must log in to helsenorge.no. Under the Patient record section, you will find selected documents from your record and be able to see who has worked on them.
Parents of children under 12 can now use services on helsenorge.no on their children’s behalf.

Please note that not all patient record documents can be viewed digitally. If you need to read your entire record, you must request a paper copy.
If you want your patient record on paper, you can use this form:
Request a printout of your patient record using the electronic form
The form can also be used to request access to the record of a deceased patient.
If you want to see who has worked on your patient record, you can request a printout of the access log:
